This month we want to help you go Back to Basics with how you support school staff. We feature tips and strategies to promote staff wellness. As you prepare to return after winter break, we also have resources to help you build relationships with students and strengthen family and community engagement.

This month’s Back to Basics focus area is how you monitor your plan using the TFI. We have resources to help you complete the TFI as well as information on how you can support your staff.

This month we are focused on helping you go Back to Basics with how you can adapt your school-wide expectation lesson plans to include Public Health Guidelines. There are also resources on how to support students through a school-wide acknowledgment system, regardless of learning format, as well as information on how to monitor attendance during remote learning.

We have resources with guidance on implementing Tier II interventions remotely, strategies to build relationships, materials on family and community engagement, and guidance on collecting progress monitoring data virtually. We also have information on how to monitor attendance and best practices for conducing your meetings virtually.

connect with your stakeholders. We have example matrices and lesson plans to teach social-emotional and behavior skills to students, acknowledgement system ideas for both in-person and virtual learners, ideas to gather feedback from families and students on the school-wide expectations, and strategies to build a sense of community within your school.
