We are proud of how you have supported your students throughout the 2020-2021 school year, and we were honored to partner with you for another school year. Now that we are approaching the end of the school year, we are highlighting how you can begin to evaluate the effectiveness of your RTI2-B plan to make enhancements for next year.

RTI2-B Implementation

We recently held a state-wide RTI2-B Conversation Hour on Enhancing RTI2-B with Restorative Practices. The recording and resources can be found here.

We also held a Tier III Topics Webinar on Antecedent Interventions. Let us know if you would like to view the recording!

The Spring Universal Behavior Screener Window is now closed. Please submit your school-wide percentage totals here.

Monitor

We know that data tells a story, so it is important to make time to review your data as a team to evaluate your plan at the end of the year. Read this post on Monitoring the Plan to help your team efficiently use data plan for next year.

Completing the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) in the spring is critical in helping your team evaluate the plan across all tiers and make informed changes for next year. Our post on Using TFI Data to Action Plan for Next Year provides guidance and resources on how to strategically use data to make improvements without feeling overwhelmed.

Support

Support

We are all aware of the impact trauma has on our students. As you think about how to support students next year, review our post on Trauma-Informed Practices to learn how it can be incorporated into what your school is already doing.

The Center on PBIS created the PBIS Cultural Responsiveness Field Guide to promote systematic implementation of culturally responsive practices to enhance equity in school discipline. Our post on Cultural Responsiveness helps break down how its five components can be integrated within your school environment. The guide can also be found here.

As you reflect on your Tier III system, you may be thinking about the interventions your school uses to meet the needs of individual students. Our post on Tier III Antecedent Interventions may help provide fresh ideas to incorporate into your plan.

The end of the year can be a stressful time for everyone in the building. Review our website for strategies and ideas to help support staff wellness as everyone finishes the year strong!

Have you ever wondered what is discussed by the RTI2-B District Leadership Team at the end of the year? Each year we review our District Implementation Plan, complete our Annual Self-Assessment, update the District Resource Map, and review Annual Report Data. You are always invited to attend this meeting, so please contact your RTI2-B District Coordinator if you would like to join!

Your TBSP team member is available to answer questions, provide resources, and brainstorm how to strengthen your implementation plans for next year. Please don’t hesitate to contact them. We are always here for you, even throughout the summer!
